Restore your phone to factory settings and do not restore a backup.

Thank you OK here’s the deal I work for a company that provides services for Internet, keyless access, security, cameras, stuff like that I handed my phone over to you someone at work trusted I thought to open a Camera app so I could view what I was installing I seen him on Snapchat said he was pinging something since that day I’ve seen my phone do some different things not normal, but today was the worst i woke up to the lock screen like l put my passcode in several times wrong it showed locked for 59 minutes. I tried to power off and turn back on and it just reset the time to an hour .I got to work and confronted them. they said they did not do this, but as soon as I went in the bathroom, my phone unlocked with 32 minutes left on the screen for the lock out time while it was in my pocket it unlocked and I started receiving messages again it everything was back to normal, so it seems Is there a way to keep them off my phone permanently. Of course I will not be handing my phone over to anyone ever again, thank you if you can help.

No one can have remote access to your phone. If someone is sharing an Apple ID with you they can see what you have synced to iCloud, but not what is on your phone; go to Settings/[your name] and you will see a list of devices that share your Apple ID. You can tap on any that don’t belong and remove it.

If you have a company or school email account on your phone the owner of that account can control some of the security settings on your phone, but cannot access any content on your phone. To see if this is the case go to Settings/General/VPN & Device Management. If there are any profiles you can delete them (but this will break that email account).

If you feel an unauthorized person is remotely controlling or monitoring your device, then that is possible only if you have done one or more of the following Don'ts...

  1. Don't hand over an iPhone to kids or to a stranger without Enabling Guided Access
  2. Don't share Apple IDs
  3. Don't Jailbreak
  4. Don't share sensitive information pertaining to your device
  5. Don't give in to Phishing
  6. Don't leave your iPhone unlocked and unattended in public places like offices, schools, malls etc.

Keep the iPhone updated to the latest iOS always and never Jailbreak. That's it.

iOS / iPadOS devices cannot be hacked or infected with Virus / Malware / Spyware if it is updated to the latest iOS/iPadOS unless you have intentionally downloaded spurious software or unauthorized apps directly from the internet and installed them on your device or/and have Jailbroken

It (Hacking) also depends on how careful you are in sharing sensitive and valuable information pertaining to your iPhone such as Passcode, Password, etc with your friends and family members.

Be judicious when sharing the device's sensitive and valuable information with friends and family members.
