iCloud on browser - how to turn off conversation view

This is so frustrating! Not only does it make it hard to find emails embedded in a conversation, I have found some completely unrelated emails getting grouped together. I sent an email to a school friend, and I ended up copying it to my kitchen remodeling contact!!

I like many aspects of their new browser interface for iCloud, I just despise the email grouping however. I've never been a fan of conversation view on any email software.

Agreeing heavily on the web conversation view for iCloud Mail, but completely also highly disgusted by the new browser interface of iCloud Mail with so much inefficient and useless spacing and buried button grouping (and some missing old great features, although some came back again)... layered with tons of new bugs... Going back to the topic, definitely support the request for changing conversation view. Also submitted similar feedback a few weeks ago, but highly doubt any "designer/developer/decision-maker" would pay any attention to the individual customer submissions...

This extremely annoying to me, when you mark as not read one email in the web client it does mark all the emails in the chain as not read. This destroys completely my workflow.

I had to stop using the web client all together.

Does anyone know how to go back to the old iCloud version? Or please Apple allow to dissable conversation view.

The development focus is wrongly placed in Apple's software. This is just one example among so many. I really have better things to do than to struggle with things that don't work as they used to with every update. Apple was once known for making life easier for the user, but those days are long gone.

If you don’t want to show all of the emails anymore, choose View > Collapse All Conversations.

Hi, this is for on a MAC. Do you know how to fix it in icloud mail for browser?

I agree. So frustrating. It's impossible to find the current email. What a mess.

I despise conversation grouping, which is why I don't use Gmail.
