Can I use my Apple Watch to play Spotify WITH NO AIRPODS !! And NO phone with Spotify premium

I don’t like wearing my AirPods in the house and what to use it without it

Apple Watch Music app playing on HomePod When I’m getting ready to go for a run at home, I put my AirPod Pros in and open the Music app on my Apple Watch Ultra and select a playlist. The music starts playing on my Apple TV / HomePod setup instead of through my AirPods. I confirmed the AirPods are connected under Bluetooth but I do not see them listed as an option to select. The music only transfers to my AirPods once I leave the house and I reconnect them. I’d obviously love to find a way to stop them from playing through the ATV/HomePods first. Thoughts?

AirPods don’t work with Apple Watch I have a cellular plan with my Apple Watch. When I go out without my iPhone and try to stream or listen to music on my 2nd Gen AirPods Pro I (think I) have downloaded I get a few seconds of clarity then the sound breaks up and is unintelligible. There is no issue with my AirPods when connected to my phone. Or when controlling the sound through my Apple Watch when my iPhone is with the watch. I have reset the AirPods.

You can use a Bluetooth speaker if you don't want to use headphones. You cannot listen to music through the teeny tiny speaker in the watch itself.

You're welcome. The tiny speaker in Apple Watch would simply be horrible to listen to music through.
