My Nancy Drew game does not work for Mac?

Im trying to play my nancy drew game please help!!!!!!!!! Its the best game series so why does not work for mac. Please help. Help please.

Chess Game Preferences Not Working The Chess game that came installed in my new Mac Air (2020, M1 Chip), Monterey Operating System 12.0.1, has never operated properly. Moving the preferences bar for level of difficulty doesn't change how the computer plays. Based on my lower level of skill, the computer is playing at a high level of skill. The Chess program is version 3.18. The build no. is 410.4.1. The last copyright date is 2017, and it is by Apple. There was a thread about this earlier, but no clear resolution of the problem. MacBook 2023 won’t let me play Counter strike 2, what do I do? so Valve shut down Counter strike Global Offensive today, and then they replaced it with Counter Strike 2. I downloaded the games from Steam and I received an error that says Missing Executable. What should I do? I asked the Steam Community and then they said Counter Strike 2 only works for Windows.

BBC online site videos "incompatible codec" MacBook Air 2023 M2 (Sonoma 14) can't play video clips on BBC online sports coverage. The message reads "incompatible codec". If I use my very old MacBook Pro (2009) the videos work!! What can I do to enable my MacBook Air to play these video clips. I'd be grateful for any uncomplicated advice (I'm not techno wise).
