Can I manually update my Apple Watch?

I sleep in my watch so I need to update sometime during the day. Can I hook it up to the charger and manually start the update?

Apple Watch Automatic Update During Day Hello. I know the watch has to be charging to do the automatic update, but I charge mine either during the day or in the evening and wear it overnight. The automatic updates only seem to want to happen overnight, because sometime in the morning I get a message saying the watch wasn’t connected to power and couldn’t be updated. is there an option somewhere to choose when an update is available and anytime when connected to power? thanks friends!

Yes, the same as can with your iPhone.

From your iPhone>Watch>General>Software Update>
