Export photo's from iCloud with the original exif information

I want to make a offline backup from my photos, which are currently stored in iCloud. However if I export these photos, the exif information about when photos are taken is replaced by date and time the photo is exported from iCloud. I tried exporting from iCloud.com and also from the Photo's app (the normal export and also the export unchanged original). In none of these cases I have any luck keeping the correct exif date.

How can I download the original files from iCloud with the original exif-information? Thank you very much for your help!

For comparison, this is the Exif I see when I export a photo's edited version and the original version:

(I have cut out stuff in the middle.) The original date and time are in both versions.

This is the Finder listing for these two exports:

For the Original, the Finder shows the capture date of 2019. The Finder shows the export date for the Edited version.

Exactly what are you seeing?

I’m talking about the exif information within the file. The fields regarding date and time the photo was taken are changed to the date and time the photo was exported from iCloud. There is no more information in the exit file about when the photo was taken, so no way for me to simply organise the photos by day/month/year. Nor Lightroom, nor Photoshop, nor multiple other programs see any other date/time then the date/time of the export of the photo.

Sorry for my late reply. In Finder I can only see the export date, in all the EXIF information (File modification and Date/Time Original). However, I have found a solution. I uploaded all my photos to Dropbox (Camera Upload) and downloaded them there, somehow Dropbox doesn't edit the EXIF information. It's a little work around and not the solution, but it worked for me.
