iOS 16 “Location Accuracy” System Prompt With Wi-Fi Turned On

Hello,

Since upgrading to iOS 16, I’ve been receiving the following system prompt every time that my phone reboots:

“Location Accuracy

Turning on Wi-Fi will improve location accuracy.”

I always have Wi-Fi turned on. This issue has persisted from iOS 16 through iOS 16.1.1. I am using an iPhone 13 Pro, model MLR63LL/A.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, it would be greatly appreciated.

Your Wi-Fi is not on, and your phone is in low power mode. You should try very hard to not let the battery go this low; ideally it should stay above 20%. Routinely allowing it to get near zero will shorten the useful life of the battery.

Things may have changed in iOS16 but I do not see the WiFi symbol in your picture. That suggests WiFi is not on...
