apple music app on android is suddenly not casting

After a sudden (was working for months and today morning started not working. No update, no changes to chrome cast firmware) apple music app on android is not casting on google devices. The casting still works from a mac book through chrome browser. Is there any workaround ? I tried a reboot of the Android devices (3 and all of them are having the same issue).

ADD ON: this apparently is fixed with a reboot of the chromecast and a double check of the devices being on the same network

You can try reinstalling the app, but after some time, it will do the same thing again.

The most annoying thing about this is that if you have downloaded music, you will have to download it again and reconfigure the app settings.
