Hello EL_DAR,

If you open your case lid with your AirPods inside and hold your case close to your iPhone, the charge status of your AirPods should appear after a few seconds. The charge for your case appears when at least one AirPod is in the case. To clarify, is this the behavior you're referring to? That information will help us plan how to proceed.

You can find more information about checking the battery percentage, and Batteries widget here, which may be helpful: Charge your AirPods and learn about battery life

Check the battery percentage

You can check the battery percentage of your AirPods with your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac.
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
Check the battery percentage on your iPhone

Open your case lid with your AirPods inside and hold your case close to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Wait a few seconds to see the charge status of your AirPods.

Use the Batteries widget on your iPhone to check the battery percentage

You can also check the charge status of your AirPods with the Batteries widget on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. The charge for your case appears only when at least one AirPod is in the case.

As for the charging case sounds, your AirPods Pro (2nd generation) charging case will play a sound when it pairs and charges. You can turn off these sounds, if you would like.

Please check out this link, which has information about that, and will guide you through those options: Change settings for AirPods Pro (all generations)

Turn off charging case sounds on AirPods Pro (2nd generation)

Your AirPods Pro (2nd generation) charging case plays a sound when it pairs, charges, and more. You can turn off these sounds.

1. Wear your AirPods, and make sure they’re connected to your device.
2. Do one of the following:
• On iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: Go to Settings , tap the name of your AirPods near the top of the screen, then turn Enable Charging Case Sounds on or off.
• On Mac: Choose Apple menu  > System Settings, click the name of your AirPods in the sidebar (you may need to scroll down), then turn “Enable charging case sounds” on or off

Thanks!
