Hacked Apple IPhone 12

My IPhone 12 was hacked as in someone is on my phone while I am on it. I noticed something in the left corner of my phone and when I click it I actually saw a woman at a table on a computer. When she realized that I could see her she said Oh **** and closed my phone so I couldn’t see her again. Afterwards she literally could do anything on my phone. Like she was closing apps and it was a race to secure my information and close everything. She was literally on my phone from somewhere else. So my question is if I use one of my other devices and change my Apple ID password is there anyway I can fix this IPhone? I literally just bought it on August 4 and it was hacked September 23. It was a postpay IPhone with AT&T which means I’ve only paid for 2 months and I have 22 months of payments for a phone I can no longer use because it’s been locked. What I want to know is can it be fixed somehow? Or am I paying for a phone I’ll never be able to use again. I also was hearing voices coming from the phone even when I had turned it off. I have anxiety issues and social anxiety disorders. Since this has happened I think everyone is looking at me and they look lol like they know something that I don’t. I know this sounds crazy but it freaked me out enough that i won’t even go outsiden. I’ve been in my house for 5-6 weeks. Since then I’ve been ok and only going out to doctor office appointments . Now I’m getting crazy messages on my old phone actually this phone that I’m on with a different Apple ID , new user name and password. So my question is can the phone 12 be fixed and get the hacker off my phones? Or will I get stuck with paying for a iPhone that doesn’t work and can’t be fixed. Because that’s a $545 for iPhone plus the $75 plan for 22 months. I was on a wild goose chase trying to get it fixed. The place where I bought my phone said go to AT&T and AT&T store told me to to Apple. Had anyone else had this problem and can I fix my iPhone 12 myself or bring it somewhere to get fixed. My nerves are shot. Please Help

By hack, if you mean a stalker is remotely controlling or monitoring your device, then...

Keep the iPhone updated to the latest iOS always and never Jailbreak. That's it.

iOS / iPadOS devices cannot be hacked or infected with Virus / Malware / Spyware if it is updated to the latest iOS/iPadOS unless you have intentionally downloaded spurious software or unauthorized apps directly from the internet and installed them on your device or/and have Jailbroken

It (Hacking) also depends on how careful are you in sharing sensitive and valuable information pertaining to your iPhone such as Passcode, Password, etc with your friends and family members.

Be careful when sharing the device's sensitive and valuable information with friends and family members.

Thumb Rules:

  1. Enable  Guided Access before handing over an iPhone to kids or to a stranger.
  2. Don't share Apple IDs
  3. Don't Jailbreak
  4. Don't share sensitive information pertaining to your device and payment methods
  5. Beware of Phishing
  6. Do not share your location with a stranger --> Find friends and share your location with Find My
  7. Do not leave your iPhone unlocked and unattended in public places like offices, schools, malls etc.
  8. If you see this --> What to do if you get an alert that an AirTag, Find My network accessory or set of AirPods is with you
