failed disk erase

Hi i accidentally erased my macbook air M1 and know that I want to reinstall macOS Monterey it don’t show me disk to install it onSo i went to disk utility and wanted to erase APPLE SSD AP0256Q Media disk but it always fails

Can some one please help me because I don’t know what to do anymore because i tried everything that internet tells me to do

If you Macbook has already been erased, you can reinstall the macOS using Disk Utility.


  1. Turn on your Mac, continue to press and hold Power button until the startup options window appears. Click on the gear icon labeled Option and select Continue.
  2. From the Utlilities Window select Reinstall macOS
