No disk showing to reinstall macOS, erasing APPLE SSD ends in error

please help!! urgent, i am trying to reinstall mac OS, no disk is to be found, i have tried following steps under other discussions, but each time i try to delete “APPLE SSD AP0256Q MEDIA” with the format, Mac Os Extended (Journaled) it keeps saying the erase process has failed.

FYI, when posting pictures online, make sure they are in the proper orientation since we have trouble reading sideways. You need to make things as easy & convenient as possible for those trying to assist you since many contributors may skip the thread. If you are using an iPhone or iPad, then you can easily rotate the picture on that device so it is in the correct orientation by using the instructions in this article:

If you are using another type of device, then there probably is something similar on them to rotate the picture.
