No option to add credit card to Apple Pay wallet

I am using apple iPhone 13 Pro Max, my region is UAE. Why cannot I add my credit card to Apple Pay wallet? Every time I click on add card it redirects me to this help page.

Hey, thanks for the answer. I tried the " Can’t add a card to Apple Wallet " link and found out that the region on my Iphone was different than where I live, and that region didn't support apple pay. I corrected that, and it seems to be working fine now.

Click ▶︎ Can’t add a card to Apple Wallet for detailed instructions.

If that doesn’t work, then try linking the payment method:

Open Settings ➢ your name at the top of the list ➢ Payment & Shipping ➢ Add Payment Method.

Once the payment method has been added, you should have the option to link it to Apple Pay.
