Portrait zoom 3 not working correctly

I just unbox my new iPhone and i was testing the camera i got this issue on picture below only on zoom x3 on portrait mode , and video x3 zoom.

Congratulations on your new iPhone! Since you just unboxed your new iPhone, we recommend ensuring it's fully updated as that helps to resolve issues and installs security updates. Here are great guides to follow, just in case:

If you've already installed updates, restart your iPhone as that too can resolve odd issues: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support


1. Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
The volume button is located on the left side of the device, and the side button is located on the right

2. Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
3. To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo.

If the behavior continues, let us know more to help:


  • Does this happen in other camera modes and with other apps that use the camera?
  • Did you set your iPhone up as a new device or from a backup?
