Airpods not working with Itunes on Windows 11.... but they work fine otherwise.

Have an HP laptop running windows 11. Airpods connected via bluetooth and they work great for every other type of application (gaming, browsing, etc). However, when I try to listen to a podcast / music within Itunes, it only plays thru the laptop speakers. Have seen a few different questions about this without much in the way of a solution.

Hello jGoFar,

If you haven't already, when playing music in iTunes make sure that your AirPods are selected as the source. There are some great steps found on the Microsoft Support page under "Check your speaker output" here: Fix sound or audio problems in Windows - Microsoft Support

If that doesn't help, let us know more:

If you connect different headphones or speakers, does the music play through those as expected?
Have you installed all available Windows and iTunes updates as that can help with odd issues too: Update to the latest version of iTunes for Windows 10 - Apple Support
