What is wrong with junk mail blocking with Ventura 13.0.1

How can I block junk mail from Ventura 13.0.1? Blocking does not work when using Ctl Click/menu/block contact. It was good until Ventura came out. MBAir 2020.

email blocked senders list I know this has been asked but I am not finding a way to handle this - how can I copy (not using screen shots) the blocked senders list in Ventura 13.1 Mail. I want to be able to use sub-domain blocking and can create a rule to drive this but I already have a large number of spam-generator accounts. I have found no way to 1) copy my blocked senders from the Mail app; nor, 2) locate where this information is stored so that I might copy (and translate the format as needed). Blocking junk and spam emails My Ventura's junk/spam email blocker is tedious and time consuming. After I mark an email as "Blocked" it continues to appear because the sender just changes one digit or letter or symbol and sends it again. Then, my Apple Mail blocker overlooks blocking it because it has changed slightly. So I must block "Camp Jejune" and "Canvas Portrait", .etc. hundreds of times. Is there any third party blocking software that will allow one to block a key word in an address or subject line? To create a new rule, every time the sender changes one letter or number or symbol, is endless and too much work for me. Thank you.

If you right click by the name of the sender a menu should pop up and then select "block" however at best blocking will only move the email to your junk folder.
