iPhone photos app freezing while sharing

Hi guys, I have been facing this problem for quite a long time now. Earlier I was using iPhone 11 Pro and I recently upgraded to iPhone 14 pro but the issue still remains. Most of the time when I try to share photos using the photo app it freezes and then only solution is to restart the phone. Upon restarting the phone this method of sharing the photos work for sometimes and then in few days same problem comes back haunting. It’s so frustrating to see this. Is anyone else facing this problem and does anyone here has got any solution for it.

I have been facing this issue with wifi and as well as cellular networks.

Since the issue is present on two devices, have you noticed this happening on various networks and cellular data? If the issue could be isolated to a single network this could be related.

If it is happening every Wi-Fi network you connect to and on cellular data, there may be a software issue that transferred to your new iPhone from the older one during setup. If that is the case, make sure you have updated to iOS 16.1.1. You can check your iOS in Settings > General > About. Then we'd recommend taking a deeper dive with Apple Support.
