Keychain keeps popping up
I have an older MacBook Pro running Big Sur. Approximately a year ago, keychain started popping up asking for my password. Once I give the password it disappears, but later will pop up again. How do I stop this?

Verify you leave the Keychain login unlocked...
this is the only way the macOS has access to your user Keychain unabated.

Please let me know how to find this. Thanks!
if you are at a loss— use the Spotlight—> Command Spacebar start to type "Keychain Access.app"
Keychain is fundamental to your account and macOS
Applications/Utilities/ "Keychain Access.app"
if you open the link from above— this is what I see...(?)
"To quickly open Keychain Access, search for it in Spotlight, then press Return. See how to open apps."
Thank you but I can't seem to find keychain on my MacBook Pro.
