How to remove calendar default invitees permanently, not from an event

I am not asking how to remove an invitee from an event.

When I create an event with a name that has occurred before, like "Dentist" my ex pops up as an invitee. How do i remove my ex as an invitee permanently from calendar, regardless of the event created? I have already deleted the contact, still shows up.

Greetings - this indicates how to remove the function of suggestions. I am just looking to remove one person, I don't want to remove entire functions because I'm not dating someone.

joeschmo1969,

Thank you for clarifying.

The suggestion is from Siri Suggestions. Your an turn this off by following these steps:

"Turn Siri Suggestions on or off for an app

Siri Suggestions are on by default for your apps. You can turn them off or change the settings at any time.

  1. Go to Settings  > Siri & Search, scroll down, then select an app.
  2. Turn settings on or off."

More details can be found here: Siri Suggestions on iPhone

We would also recommend leaving feedback regarding this by going to iPhone

Cheers!
