AUX issues 11/2022

My AUX cable for my Nissan Murano does not work when I use my Iphone 13 BUT it works with any android> Nissan dealer couldn't figure out. Any suggestions?

Recent Update cancelled aux/headphone cable connection My vehicle's aux input is the only way to play my iphone audio for applications that I use for music and navigation. I have the Apple-made adapter that plugs lightening end into the iPhone and has a aux/headphone jack input on the other end. I have been successfully using this with all of my iPhones, including this iPhone 11. Suddenly, when I try to use it, it is not switching the audio and instead continues to play through the iPhone's internal speakers. The car stereo shows the cable is connected, and goes silent in anticipation of incoming audio. I tried searching in the iPhone settings for "input," "audio," but I have had no luck finding where I can locate the audio output options. Resetting my phone is not an option, as I do not have time to look up usernames and make new passwords for dozens of websites and apps.

Please use a genuine cable --> Lightning to 3.5mm Audio Cable (1.2m) - Black - Apple
