Timer won’t leave notch

After using my timer, it won’t turn off from the notch. Closing the clock app doesn’t help. The only way I’ve been able to clear it is restarting the phone.

Hello moljacks,

Just to clarify, your timer icon stays in the notice, but restarting the iPhone clears it - until you use it again. Do we have that correct?

If so, let's make sure your iPhone is fully updated as that might help with this behavior: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support.

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

      1. "Back up your device using iCloud or your computer.
      2. Plug your device into power and connect to the internet with Wi-Fi.
      3. Go to Settings > General, then tap Software Update.
      4. If you see more than one software update option available, choose the one that you want to install.
      5. Tap Install Now. If you see Download and Install instead, tap it to download the update, enter your passcode, then tap Install Now."

Let us know if we can help with anything else at all or if this doesn't settle your issue so we can look into this further with you. Thanks and have a fabulous day!
