How do I setup an Apple new Wi-Fi password. home pod mini without a code to scan?

I changed the password on my home Wi-Fi router. I couldn’t get me HomePod mini to work, so I deleted it and thought I’d add it back and that would give me the opportunity to put in the new Wi-Fi password. NOPE! That didn’t work. Now I’m trying to set up my “new” home pod mini and it asks for a code to scan. I don’t that. What can I do?

You don't use the Home app's Add Accessory function to add a HomePod. See the Press the top of HomePod to reset it section of Reset HomePod - Apple Support and follow the steps carefully as given.
