Unfortunately, this does not work like Chromecast which I never had a problem with. Airplay is just a sadly frustrating/ridiculous software that almost never works. I’ve seen so many pleas for assistance and there is never a good resolved. I actually just got back to my Boston apartment and foolishly decided to try and see if airplay works now. That’s a laugh. It’s almost as if Apple needed to put out a product to compete with Chromecast, turned it out and offers no support for a half assed product. My fix? Get a Google dongle and plug that into your TV. They work perfectly, and the picture quality is better than, the remote possibility of you being able to hook up to airplay. Good luck. I completely give up with airplay.
