What to do when your iPad has been hacked.

Unless someone has had access to your iPad while it was unlocked for more than a few minutes or you are a high profile journalist, activist or politician, it is highly unlikely that your iPad has been hacked. What are you seeing that has you concerned?
I had received an unusual email . Then a split screen appeared. I went to YouTube to see how to remove split screen. All the videos required decoding a word which I did. Then I was concerned I had gotten into something. I turned off the computer and later back on. I will monitor. All seems ok. Thanks for your reply.
