Hey J_Johnnyboy,
I really appreciate your help. Unfortunately, it doesn't work.
Let me make the bug more clear; to re-produce the issue:
- Enable the auto-brightness in your iPhone
- Now, go back to the home screen, and adjust the screen brightness manually from the control center.
Note that the Auto-brightness button in the Accessibility > Tap Display & Text Size is still turned on.
- Now, go to some brighter or dimmer light area, you will see that the auto brightness will not work, the brightness of the display is still the level you have set manually.
To enable the auto brightness feature again, you've to go to Accessibility > Tap Display & Text Size, disable and enable the auto-brightness button again.
On Android phones, if you have enabled the auto-brightness feature, and you manually adjust the brightness for the time being, and then move to a place that is brighter or darker, the screen will automatically adjust its brightness.
Regards,
