Copy and paste keeps breaking on my iPad I can copy and paste with no issue on my iPhone, but when I use my iPad, it works for a bit, but then stops working until a while later, and then this issue repeats. It shows as if something is in the clipboard, but when I paste it, it's completely empty. I've tried this: Selecting text/double tapping to copy and paste. Using the OS keyboard buttons. I've noticed sometimes the paste button appears black on the clipboard, but doesn't change when I click it. Missing Copy, Paste and Formatting icons on my iPad Pro I had to restore my iPad Pro from backup recently. Since then I have noticed some odd things. The copy, paste, and other formatting icons that are normally at the bottom of a page are gone. I have looked everywhere in Settings to see if a switch had somehow got turned off but I don’t see anything related to these icons. Ant assistance will be greatly appreciated. no options menu when I select text on ipad I do not see an options menu after double-tapping to select text. According to the given instructions, I should select the word or words, them tap once to gt the copy/cut/look up .. menu, but all that happens is it un-highlights my selection.

Have you tried CMD + C (Copy) and CMD + V (Paste)?
