Ask to Buy no longer working?

The Ask to Buy feature is no longer working.

I am not getting my son’s requests.

I have verified that the account information is matching up, that “ask to buy” is turned on for his account.

move tried turning it off and back on. I’ve updated my son’s phone and mine. I’ve reset both phones.

it was working fine a few weeks ago.
