AirPods Pro 2 too quiet on Teams and Zoom

My wife just bought the AirPods Pro 2 to use on her MS Teams and Zoom calls. Full disclosure, she has hearing loss in both ears, so she needs strong sound. When connected to Spotify, YouTube, etc. the sound is loud and robust. However, when she connects to a MS Teams or Zoom call, the sound is barely loud enough to hear with excellent hearing. She tried out my AirPods Pro Gen 1 on Teams and Zoom and they worked fine. For some reason, the AirPods Pro 2 don't have enough volume on these meeting apps to be useful to her. Her laptop is a Microsoft Surface laptop 5. I have tried everything to make these new AirPods louder, but nothing works. Does anyone have a suggestion on what to try?

We want to help her get the most from her AirPods Pro 2 and raise the volume.

You can use these step to turn up the volume:

"To turn the volume up or down, place your thumb on the stem of either AirPod, and use your index finger to swipe up or down on the Touch control."

You can also check the volume in both the PC settings and the app settings. Make sure the volume for Zoom is at the max as that might be the issue.
