Why do my AirPods 4 sound low during Teams calls?

I have the same issue. It seams Apple need to upgrade Airpods controlers for Win11. When i use teams on iphone the same thing happens but you can volume up. On windows system sound Teams app controlling sound is faded option not possible to interact or volume up, but you can see that is leveled down.

The same it's happening to me too. Maybe the Reduce Background Noise feature from teams is interfering with the Airpods? I've tried to disable it but no luck. But maybe there're more audio enhances running on teams that may interfere.

He man. I just wanted to let you know I solved it using a TP link ub500 bluetooth adapter (I guess any bluetooth.53 adapter will do). Disable the built-in "Intel wireless bluetooth" Install the drivers for the TP link from the website and re-connect (remove/add) the Airpods on Bluetooth. All good after that

I've followed your advice and I got this TP-Link UB500 Bluetooth adapter. I've disabled my on board Bluetooth controller and now I'm using the new one.

I've been able to pair the Airpods (and also my mouse) successfully but even though it appears paired as a sound device I cannot select it as a playout device (or microphone or headset).

Did you do anything special to have them working after pairing?

Did you download the drivers from the TP link website? After that, restart your computer and try Teams again.
