Find/Replace doesn't work in PAGES

From Edit>Find>Find in Page, I can type in the word and the replacement. It finds the word but doesn't replace it. I am clicking the replace button. I've tried several different ways.

Solved the problem by moving doc to another WP program that works, but if you've solved this let me know.

Pages 12.2.1 - Find and Replace Not Working I have a brand new Mac (Ventura 13.1) and have used Pages for over a decade. When I search for a word in a Pages document it displays the number of results but will not display any of them. However, if I log in on iCloud.com and open the same Pages document (in Safari) then the search/find works properly. I prefer to use the desktop version of Pages. I see that there was a problem in V.11 but I am using Pages 12.2.1. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Pages anomoly Why cant Pages Find/Replace accept the 'end of line' or 'paragraph' function? I build club elibrary catalogs with the majority not being capable of 'copy/paste' into Numbers so I have to put them into Pages then reformat so that they can be put into Numbers for easy viewing. I usually do a copy/paste of a 'unique sequence'; i.e. PPGenre; into the find function then paste it into the replace function and edit to whatever I am working on at that moment; i.e. dropping one of the P(aragraph) marks to remove a double paragraph so it becomes one unit instead of two. Then I do the end of unit, usually a double paragraph) and change it to something innoculous such as 5 X's followed by replacing all paragraph marks with the tab mark (this does not seem available as well) then replacing the XXXXX with a paragraph mark which invariably makes one line for each book in the list. On the old Pages 09, there was a selection in the find/replace at the top of the function that allows the selection of this capability. Is there any 'workaround' to restore this capability? WGB

Pages (Version 12.2) will not jump to the word I want to find, even though it says (for example) that the word is found in the document 5 times. Serious bug! Some of my documents are hundreds of pages long.

I have tried many protocols that random people have said worked to fix this bug; for example:

Quit Pages
Restart computer
Close any open documents
Quit Pages
Restart Pages
Create new document
Find a word in the new document
Open the original desired document
Use the Find function

One person said this worked, nut it doe not work for me...

This is a big problem! Please fix this!
