Pages 12.2.1 - Find and Replace Not Working

I have a brand new Mac (Ventura 13.1) and have used Pages for over a decade. When I search for a word in a Pages document it displays the number of results but will not display any of them. However, if I log in on iCloud.com and open the same Pages document (in Safari) then the search/find works properly. I prefer to use the desktop version of Pages. I see that there was a problem in V.11 but I am using Pages 12.2.1.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for your suggestion. In Safe Mode I have the same problem, and it continues on my desktop version as well. The online version on iCloud.com works perfectly. I disabled the choices in each case for whole word, etc., and left the selection as Find only. It is very odd that sometimes it will say xx found but only give the result on the first or second page of the document, and then nothing after that.

After further checking I wondered if the document itself was the problem so I opened a saved older version of it and it would appear that everything works fine in that version. I do wonder what has caused an issue with the newer one. Perhaps because I opened it on my iPhone 13 a few weeks ago?

Bottom line would appear to be that everything works fine, problem is likely with the document I was using. I tried using Find on a few other Pages documents (desktop version) and the results seem to work properly.

Try it in safe mode, then again in normal mode.
