Siri does not search or message while I am driving
Why does a little car show up on my phone when driving but Siri says he cannot search the internet and it hangs up on me when I ask it to text.
Found this from 2017, same problem. My car is a 2023. Not sure if it would have worked in my 2014 car since it was totaled less than an hour after I purchased the phone.
2017: “Siri "works", it is not a question of connection. However, Siri will not connect to the web. I can press the steering wheel button and get Siri to phone or text someone. ….However, when I ask a question, the response is "I cannot connect to the web while you are [in the car]" I don't recall the precise words, but regardless of whether the engine is running or off and the car is parked or moving, the response is always that Siri cannot connect to the web. I used to be able to do this, but I can't now. I have tried all settings I could find, thinking it is related to the new” phone or car it didn’t copy.
My problem is while driving or parked with engine on. Is it a phone problem or a car setting as they are both new I just don’t know.
