songs greyed out in library/playlists in apple music library

Many of the songs I have in my playlists are greyed out and will not play. When I try to play them it gives me a message about them not being available in my region. However If I go to apple music they are still available and will play. It is like the link has been broken between the song in the library and the one in apple music. If I delete the song from my library I can re-add it, one at a time. What a nightmare this is because there are A LOT of them and they are removed from any playlists when they are removed in order to add them back. I have tried unsyncing/and resyncing (this actually made it worse). It is universal across all of my devices (iphone, ipad and and my PC computer). I have checked with others I know use apple music and most are having issues with this too. Does anyone have any solutions? HELP!
