Additional Memory
Can I add additional memory to a MacBook Pro with Apple M1 chip, currently running Ventura 13.0 with 8GB (Hynix LPDDR4 memory) already installed

You can add an external drive, for more storage.
But since late 2012, memory has been soldered down on the board for maximum reliability, and can not be updated in the field.
If you must have more RAM, the only way to accomplish that is to convert your computer to cash (by selling it) and use the cash to obtain a computer that better meets your needs.
