Hello. Never had this problem before a recent Mac software update to Ventura. Android File Transfer, recommended by Apple themselves, doesn't seem to see my Samsung. I use the same cable that came with my Galaxy S22. The screen is unlocked. But no luck. Please help.
Thank you Justin. I just want to move videos I shoot via my Samasug to my Mac for editing. I'm a journalist and I use Samsung to film. I have over 20GB of videos that I want to transfer. Yes, I can always "share" via Wi-Fi, but it's a hassle and time consuming. My question is "Why Android File Transfer doesn't work anymore?" Thanks anyway

Thanks TrevorDab. I'm not using VPN. I'm stuck. The only solution is to get an SD reader! I don't know why Apple are doing this. We have to buy gadgets with every upgrade.
If you are getting a message 'Could not connect to device' from Android file transfer and you are running a VPN, try disabling that and retry, as that worked for me. Application was working fine under Monterey and only became an issue once Ventura was installed
