How do I find the correct driver for Epson FF-680W with MAC Monterey 12.6.1

How do I find the correct driver for Epson FF-680W with MAC Monterey 12.6.1. Please help! I've been spending several days with the problem, and am awaiting an Epson person to call and tell me what to do. THe FastFoto abends when it is trying to save the photo scans. The Epson FastFoto icon is red crossed out on top bar. I've tried all the drivers and packages recommended on the support page, but nothing works.

Hello karlafromvienna,

Welcome to Apple Support Communities!

We want to help get your Epson FF-680W working normally again with your Mac.

We see you viewed the Apple Support page for 32-bit app compatibility with macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 and later - Apple Support

This page from Epson has the current driver for your Epson FF-680W: SPT_B11B237201 | Epson FastFoto FF-680W | FastFoto Series | Scanners | Support | Epson US

Then try again to connect your printer:

"Connect an AirPrint, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, or USB printer

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Connect wirelessly: Join your wireless network from the printer’s interface. For directions, see the documentation that came with your printer.
    • Connect with a USB or Ethernet cable: Plug one end of the cable into your printer, and the other end into the base station’s USB port  or Ethernet port .
  1. Choose Apple menu  > System Settings, then click Printers & Scanners  in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.)
  2. Select your printer on the right. If the printer isn’t listed, click the Add Printers, Scanners, or Fax button, then add your printer.

See Add a printer and the Apple Support article Connect an AirPrint printer to a Wi-Fi network.

Note: Error or status messages may not appear when the printer is connected to a base station. For example, you may not get messages such as Out of Paper or Printer Busy."

This Apple Support page has the full details: Add a printer to your Wi-Fi network in AirPort Utility on Mac - Apple Support

If you still have issues, please continue working with Epson support for help with the Epson printer.

Cheers!
