Backup and restore backup

I recently changed my phone to 14pro max, after transferring data from old phone, some of shared photos by IMessage didn’t transfer. How can I backup only my messages and restore only the messages from iCloud to have my phone like old one?

iPhone 14 Pro Max, iOS 16

You cannot pick and choose data to backup and restore. You can only create a full backup and full restore. Try creating a new backup of the old phone and then restore it to the new Phone.
