Your only option is to follow How to remove your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch passcode without a computer - Apple Support which does mean you'll lose anything not synced for backed up before. There is no way to backup or sync after the fact.
Once your iPhone passcode is forgotten, you have no choice but to lose all your data and restore from a backup (if any).
