I Forgot my password, can I unlock my iPhone without factory reseting it?

I forgot my iPhone password and it's locked for 8 hours now. The last time I backed up my phone was about a year ago.I also bought icloud+ so will my iPhone backup automatically? Is there any way that I can unlock my phone without restoring it to factory settings?
