Apple Watch Ultra not recording wrist temperatures
I have sleep focus set up, I have wrist temp in privacy turned on, etc. still not data. Seems to be a pretty useless feature being slaved to other settings.

It sounds like you have your device settings enabled correctly for this feature if you already have a Sleep Focus enabled, and Wrist Temperature enabled in the Privacy settings.
To establish a baseline, you’ll also want to be sure to wear your Apple Watch while sleeping for at least five nights. Also, please be sure that you watch maintains battery life overnight and that it is fitting properly on your wrist.
