Mac Studio re-arranges external displays after Sleep mode and Shut Down

Thanks everyone for taking time to help other users.

I have connected two external displays to my Mac Studio, which are arranged horizontally with one primary and other secondary. However, whenever Mac is put to Sleep or I shut it down and start again, the display arrangement is changed. The primary becomes secondary and therefore transition of mouse from left to right also changes. I use one display with USB type C connector and other one with HDMI. Both are Benq 32 inch 4K displays. I am working with an Apple Expert but it has not resulted in any success thus far. I am using the latest Ventura version 13.0. Even with prior Monterey version, I had faced similar challenge. Any advice on how I can fix this? Thank you in advance.

I was having the same issue since I purchased the Mac Studio in March. The workaround that FINALLY solved the problem for me just this month was changing one of the connections so that I now use a DisplayPort to USB-C cable for one of the monitors and an HDMI cable for the other. Before that I was using DisplayPort to USC-C cables for both monitors (INNOCN 27" 4K displays).

Hi MichLiam, thanks! Surprisingly, I had a set up with one USB-C and other HDMI, which I thought could be the reason of the problem. So I changed to both USB-C and the issue persists. So, strangely USB-C and HDMI actually didn't work for me :(. Happy that it worked out for you.

I am still waiting for apple to fix this issue via a lock functionality for display setting, I recommended basis other experienced Mac Studio user's guidance. Hopefully, this fix this issue permanently in the near future.
