Apple One family subscription not working

I am subscribed to Apple One family subscription with my children (account managed by me). iCloud, Apple Music, Apple Arcade and Apple TV are also shared with them. However on their iPads, it asks to subscribe to Apple Music additionally. Unable to debug.

Hi

The have separate Apple ids (registered as children under 13 years) under my Apple ID as a family. They all have their own iPads configured with their Apple ID - which means that they cannot sign out of their devices, neither can they view their apple IDs on their devices.

I have subscribed to Apple One and the Apple Music works perfectly fine on my iPhone. Further, it shows that all the three children have access to this subscription under 'Shared Subscriptions'. However, when the Music app is opened on any of the iPads, it does not allow to play any music and asks to start subscription (one month free followed by payment in the future).

Unable to solve the problem.


Please help.

We understand that your children are not able to use Apple Music on their iPad? Are they using the same Apple ID for Apple Music that they use with Apple One. If not, we recommend that they use that Apple ID? if they try to sign in to Apple Music using their Apple ID what happens? What is the exact error message, if any? Are they able to listen to Apple Music on their other Apple devices, such as their iPhone or Mac? These answers will help us to isolate the cause.
