Can’t renew credit card after it expired

Hi, my credit card has expired so I can’t renew my iCloud subscription. When I fill in the new credit card details I get an error message saying I haven’t filled the form in ( but I have). I have tried using the details of another card and I can’t seem to see any option for using Apple Pay

Apple Pay says credit card expiring soon I use Apple Pay to pay for purchases within an App ( Candy Crush). My credit card is correctly entered into my Wallet ( and has been for years!). The credit card has an expiration date of 11/2024 and up until a few days ago there were no issues and purchases were made and accepted with no issues. Now, when I try to purchase I get a message that the card is soon to expire and I need to update my card. On my iPhone, when I access Media & Purchases ( in settings), View Account, Purchase History there is a message that says " Billing Problem. There is a problem with your current payment method. Update payment method." I have tried to remove the current card, I cannot do so as there is an active subscription tied to it! I have checked with my bank ( tied to the card I'm using) and there are no issues or alerts associated with the card.

Cannot update the payment method on Apple Pay Apple is saying my credit card is about to expire. But it's good for two more years. It doesn't let me update the expiration date or CVV code. It also doesn't let me add the new card, because it says I already have it. It also doesn't let me remove the old one so I can replace it, because it says I have to have at least one form of payment on my family plan. Do I really have to add yet another credit card; and then remove this one; and then add this one again; and then remove the other one? That's so stupid. When I try to add the new version of my same card, why doesn't it notice that the expiration date is newer and let me replace the existing one with this one? [Edited by Moderator]

expired credit card I can not use my apple pay because it says it’s about to expire. my card expiration date is in 2026. how do I fix that?

Try this:

Sign in to your Apple ID account page and edit / update your Apple ID details.

https://appleid.apple.com

On the Sidebar click Payment methods -> then tap Payments Methods and tap Manage payment method.

Or -> Change, add or remove Apple ID payment methods

Change, add or remove Apple ID payment methods – Apple Support (UK)

Add first the new card, then remove the old one.

If you update your payment method or add funds to your Apple ID balance, It would take about 1 to 3 business days in order to process.

If you're still unable to update your payment method, Contact Apple Support.
