Airpods 3 Mic Not Working on Samsung S22

Airpods 3 mic not working for calls by default (same issue with whatsapp) when connected with Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Phone. Need to disconnect Bluetooth and connect back for the mic to work. I have the same issue with 2 S20's and 2 S22's, so it wasn't the phone. I had swapped 2 different Airpods, and the problem persists, many updates to airpods and phones.

Anyone else facing the similar issue or could it be a problem with Airpods 3 period? I've used Airpods 1st & 2nd Gen with Samsung "for ever", and NO issues were found until I am using th Airpods 3 Gen. This happens 75 to 85% of my regular calls or WhatsApp calls.
