Mac no longer scans with printer after upgrade to Ventura

Hello. After upgrading to Ventura 13.0 on my 2018 Mac mini 3.6 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i3, my old but trusty Dell E514dw laser printer continues to function wirelessly as a printer, but when I try to open the scanner as I have successfully before the Ventura upgrade, a blank screen appears and there is no scanning function. I have tried some of the suggestions in a similar thread for Epson and Xerox printers to no avail. Dell no longer supports this printer (and perhaps no other Dell printers as well). Suggestions?

Mac mini, macOS 13.0

I would prefer to not re-install Catalina. I am skeptical that all Dell scanning software that is Mac compatible works for all Dell scanners. For instance, VueScan has compatibility with *some* Dell scanners......but Mr Hamrick says VueScan will not work with my particular Dell scanner. Thank you for your post......I wish it had worked! Any more potential solutions, ideas, work arounds?
