Anyone on here know of a fix, or if it’s still a problem on iOS 16?
I have an iPhone X and so am reluctant to download iOS 16 for fear it’ll slow down my old phone, but will download it if I knew it fixed this Notes bug.

There are a few ways to adjust the font on Notes. You can change the heading style along with specific formatting. This process is explained in more detail below:
1. Tap, then enter your text.
The first line of the note becomes the note’s title.
2. To change the formatting, tap.
You can apply a heading style, bold or italic font, a bulleted or numbered list, and more.
3. To save the note, tap Done.
Tip: To choose a default style for the first line in all new notes, go to Settings> Notes > New Notes Start With.
