Font changes in Notes when I copy + paste

I use the Notes app from my iPhone XR and lately whenever I copy and paste any text in or outside of the app, it will change the font to a smaller Times New Roman print instead of maintaining its original format.

As you can see from the 3 pics below, it also seems to change whenever I delete the line above it right after it’s been pasted.

This has never happened before I downloaded the latest software update, which makes me think this is a potential new bug. Nevertheless, is there any way to fix this?

Hey there notiousbig,

Test to make sure this is only happening with the built-in Notes app. If it is, quit the app: Close an app on your iPhone or iPod touch - Apple Support. Then, Restart your iPhone - Apple Support We know this sounds like a simple step, but sometimes a fresh restart can correct unusual behavior that pops up.

If the issue remains, you may want to first make sure all the notes in your Notes app are saved to iCloud or to another account type, or make a backup of your device to save your notes: How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support. Once you have made a backup of the notes, try to remove the app and re-add it. To delete an app, follow these steps: Delete apps on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support. Then, follow the guidance on this page to redownload the Notes app: Redownload apps and games from Apple - Apple Support.
