Logic Pro X update problem

Hi! I had installed the Logic Pro X trial 3 months ago to test the software on my Macbook Pro with Big Sur OS 11.7. All was ok. Some days ago I've decided to buy the software but in the meanwhile Apple has realesed the new version that have a 12.3 OS as a minimum request. So I can't install Logic now and I had setup all the plugins for my music recording. There is any possibilities to buy the latest version before or I need to update my MacBook? Thanks in advance!

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.7

What is your mac model? If it is compatible with Monterey or Ventura, and you are not ready to upgrade the OS, you could install on a separate drive, or on a new volume on the internal drive, and use that to purchase the application.

If your mac cannot run a new OS, then you could use a friend's mac, purchase Logic with YOUR Apple Id, and then delete it.

In each of the above cases, once you have bought the application, you will be able to download a previous version (specifically the last one that works in Big Sur): open the App Store, click on your account (bottom left) to see your purchases; then click the download link next to Logic Pro. You will be advised that the current version is not compatible, and asked if you want the most recent one that works. Of course, you do.

I got the exact same problem. This is so stupid. I downloaded a Logic Pro X 10.7.4 trial, to use with Big Sur 11.7.1. Everything worked fine, so after the trial period of 90 days ended, I wanted to buy it, but NO, Now you suddenly need to have macOS version 12.3 or later? How complicated is it to make it possible to meet the customer where the customer is? and make the customer choose which version of the software they want when they wish to buy the product? I mean not everyone wants to update to the newest OS, because we actually use hardware and software by other companies than Apple. I work professionally with music and have other DAWs I work with and do not want to update my OS, but I mean if Apple wants to make money and be relevant in the future, they have to meet the customers on their term, or they'll loose them to other more customer friendly software companies. Just saying. It's not complicated to make it possible to buy the software and choose which version you want to download.
