Lost notes after iCloud notes sync

Hi there,

A few weeks ago i bought a new iPad. I made some new notes on the new iPad. Yesterday I decided I wanted my iPhone notes (I have a lot of notes, I have my iPhone for many years now) on my new iPad. So I switched on the button for notes in iCloud on my iPad (settings —> my name —> iCloud —> notes —> ON). Now I have all my notes of my iPhone but the notes I made on my new iPad are nowhere to be found. Also not in removed notes. Does anyone know how I can get these notes back?

Thanks in advance!

Kind regards,

Maarten

Greetings maartenkraaijkamp,

If you are missing notes on your iPad, follow the guidance found here:

If you're missing notes on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

"Manually search for your notes

If Search doesn't show results, you might need to check a different folder and scroll down the list:

  1. Open Notes, then tap the back icon Tap the arrow icon until you see your Folders list.
  2. If you have more than one folder, tap a different folder to see if your note is in there.

If you still can't find your note, it's possible that you're not using the correct word, phrase, or title from the note."

Take care.
