Beats Fit Pro Microphone Issue - far too much background noise

Whenever using these headphones for calls, the background noise they pick up is far too much (even in noise cancellation mode). someone on the other end can hear a conversation 15 feet away that is like its right next to me.

This is clearly a software fault (as they have noise cancellation), but I have the latest firmware (4E64).

Has anyone found a fix for this?

Hello RoscoPColtraine,

Thank you for reaching out to Apple Support Communities, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can. We understand you're having issues with noise cancellation on your Beats Fit Pros. Follow the steps here to see if resetting them resolves the issue: Reset your Beats Fit Pro - Apple Support

"If you have sound, Bluetooth, or charging issues with your earphones, you might want to reset them.

  1. Place both earbuds in the charging case. Leave the case open.
  2. Press and hold the system button on the case for 15 seconds or until the LED indicator light flashes red and white.
  3. illustration of case open with earbuds inside and arrow pointing to system button

  4. Release the system button.

The LED indicator light will continue to flash white, which means that you can pair your Beats Fit Pro with your iPhone, Mac, Android device, or other device again."

We hope this helps.

Cheers!
